When I was a child, whenever I watched someone doing something in a TV show or a movie I always immediately began to imagine myself as if I were who I saw and I wanted to be them in real life... I remember watching Kevin Costner as Robin Hood and immediately afterwards I wanted to pick up a bow and arrow, to live in Sherwood Forest, and to be just like the "Prince of Thieves"... I remember watching "Star Wars" when Obi-wan Kenobi is telling Mark Hamill's Luke Skywalker that the Force will be with him and hoping that throughout my life the Force would also be with me... I remember watching Harrison Ford as Indiana Jones and afterwards feeling drawn to becoming an archaeologist who uncovered and revealed the stories and the mysteries of history... I remember watching Marty McFly traveling in the Deloreon time machine and leaving a fiery trail after it reached 88mph and wanting to be a time traveler just like him and go "Back to the Future"... I remember watching William Shatner as Captain James T. Kirk travelling at warp speed on the starship Enterprise in "Star Trek" and wanting to also take a voyage to the final frontier and across the galaxy... I remember seeing Christopher Reeve as Superman and immediately believing that it was possible for a man to fly... I remember watching multiple actors play James Bond and wanting to be by their side as they drove at full speed in their Aston Martin through the streets of some exciting and interesting city... I remember being a child and being a captivated, enthralled, motivated, inspired, at the same time hearing the call to adventure and wish fulfillment by so many of my life-long screen heroes.

My Poem “Puzzle Pieces”
Every day I see puzzle pieces strewn around me - which is fine because I have always loved a good mystery... every day my interest is peaked with fascination by questions - those I perceive and read emanating from people, places, experiences, circumstances, and situations, like a nectar to a bee... every day I find myself following the breadcrumbs left behind by everyone who may not wish to have the truth about something laid bare for all to see... every day I take a leap and I allow my instincts to drive the thoughts of my mind at full speed... every day I look and I always see something that intrigues me and invigorates my curiosity... every day I unlock internal doors to inner places, like a locksmith of multiple keys - but sometimes when I do I find myself in rooms filled with the things of people that sometimes feel out of place and out of context, like a mismatch of fragments that you sometimes find interlaced within a dream... every day I decode one decrypted message, and the next I see a gap within a tapestry and I have to find out what and where to find the missing puzzle pieces.

My Poem “Parting Ways”
It can be easy, if can be hard... you can feel free, you can feel lost - but there comes a time when one must become two again, because that is the way things are meant to be... things, people, can start out and seem disperate and different from one another - but over time, when multiple elements are mixed together, a new state of equanimity can be created and there is perfect harmony, maybe even love; however, most things are not meant to last forever - even though you may desperately want them to - and gradually tensions and tears start appearing it what was once a seemingly perfect relationship, and then things can get too bad and they become too far gone to fix and what follows is the eventual end of things... no one ever wants to envision the last time they do something... no one ever wants to consider what might happen when something stops... "goodbye" is a word no one wants to say - but things happen, things change, people change, people grow apart, and sometimes you have to do something as devastating and heartbreaking as walking away and partings ways.
