“The Wolf and the Vampire” book series

Inspired by an idea by my amazing publisher, Mike Blackburn at Zeloo Media, my books ‘The Wolf In Me’, ‘The Wolf In You’, and ‘VEGA – The Vampire King’, have all been linked together on Amazon as a book series called “The Wolf and the Vampire King” – currently a three book series available in paperback and as ebooks, which began in 2017, and which tells “the story of Olivia Hunter, an ordinary woman propelled into an extraordinary world. A mother, a teacher, a lover, a werewolf trying to find a way to walk a line between two different worlds”.

My Poem “When you’re not looking for it”

It's amazing what you can find...
it's amazing what can find you...
it's amazing what can happen
when it is the right time...
it's amazing what mysteries people can answer
without even a single clue...
it's amazing what is sometimes
created "by accident"...
it's amazing what the light of a sunrise
can present as an opportunity...
it's amazing what perfection
can be found within the different...
it's amazing what can inspire words of poetry...
it's amazing what can grow
where you wouldn't think it could...
it's amazing what someone can do with so little...
it's amazing what strength of character
can manifest itself within someone
during a natural disaster, like a flood...
it's amazing what with time, patience
and perseverance can be revealed...
it's amazing what can be generated
from a single idea on a piece of paper...
it's amazing what and who overtime
can become memorialised within a myth...
it's amazing what people can be motivated
to do by a deep sense of loss and fear...
it's amazing who or what sometimes
makes their presence known to you
when you are not looking for them or it.

My Poem “What was”

I will never forget what was;
I will never forget us;
I wish everything hadn't ended
the way that we did;
I wish everything could go back
to how it used to be;
I will always think of you
and I will always miss every hug,
every kiss, and everything that we did;
I hope that I see you on the other side -
perhaps then we can pick up where we left off
before we lost what we had
and everything was taken away from us
and became a memory of what was.

My Poem “The Baton”

It is only natural for things
to continously be passed
from one person to another,
from one place to another,
from one time to another -
because life is an endless continuum
of infinite connections...
thoughts, feelings, emotions,
experiences, scenarios always
find a way to reoccur, repeat,
and be revived for another setting,
for another generation -
but the key part of what makes them
so everlasting always remains intact...
depending on how life is lived
informs how echoes of the past
will be interpreted by the present,
as well as by the future...
trends, fashions, attitudes,
buried treasure, lost keepsakes
have a way of returning to the surface
from wherever they found themselves
until the time was right for them
to be found once again...
people see perfection in nature...
people see perfection in art...
people hear perfection in the way someone laughs...
people see perfection in patterns...
some people see perfection in math...
everybody finds something in their life
that instantly takes away their fear
and makes the path before them clear...
like people participating in a race,
or a collective journey of togetherness,
everybody is constantly picking up,
passing on, and reenlivening
life's universal and constantly moving baton.
