In this episode Mark recites his poem ‘Blessed’, from his poetry collection Poet of the Multiverse, and he gives some insight and some context into why he was inspired to write this poem in particular.

Originally published in 2022, ‘Poet of the Multiverse’ symbolised a landmark moment in my journey as a poet, as a writer, and as an author, because it was released 10 years after the first publication of my first book ‘Poet of the Sphere’.
‘Poet of the Multiverse’ and the poetry within were published when I began to look upon who and what had brought me to where I found myself at that time in my life – both personally, as well as creatively – and, as I did, I began to see a pattern, as well as a multitude of choices, paths, and “What if?” moments which have defined me and have shaped me into who I am in so many ways.
I have always been fascinated by the thought of what might have happened if each and every one of us had made different decisions at a particular moment in our lives; however, the more that I think about what choices I made – some based solely on instinct and intuition – I continue to be believe that what happened was always meant to happen for a reason, including: I was always meant to be the “Poet of the Sphere” and a “Poet of the Multiverse”.

As I customarily do, not long ago I left a signed copy of my new book POET of the Multiverse for someone to find - and I have done the same thing multiple times over the last 10 years for each and every one of my 12 books. Today I left a copy of POET of the Multiverse on a park-bench at the exact spot where the cover photo for the book was taken - how's that for poetic? Anyway, whoever it is who gets lucky enough to find the signed copy of my book that I just left... Happy reading! ☺️
My new poetry collection 'POET of the Multiverse' is Out Now and available to buy in paperback and as an ebook for Kindle from Amazon! This collection of poems, all written by me, is a poetic reflection of myself, of my journey as a poet, as a writer, as an author, as a son, as a brother, as an optimist, as a dreamer over the last 10 years, as well as being a celebration of life, the universe, and the infinite possibilities that can follow after taking a leap of faith, a leap of love, and a leap of imagination into the unknown.
You can get a copy of my new book 'POET of the Multiverse' from Amazon.com and Amazon UK!

Hello Friends!
It is my great pleasure to be able to once again announce the publication of a new book of my poetry, entitled... POET of the Multiverse! POET of the Multiverse is a collection of poems - some that can be found on MarkThePoet.Me, some that can only be found exclusively within the pages of my new book, and one or two that you may only have read if have a copy of my first poetry collection Poet of the Sphere.
The intention of the poems within POET of the Multiverse is to be a celebration, of sorts. You see, it has been 10 years since I got my first book, Poet of the Sphere, published and my journey as a writer from then to now has been incredible, amazing, unbelievable, fulfilling, gratifying, and epic in so many ways. I have written 12 books since 2012 - filled with poetry, short-stories, novellas; however, no matter what I have written, poetry has always been my first love and the way that I choose to express myself and share the unfiltered inspiration within me.
Since 2022 marks the 10th anniversary of the publication of my first book I decided to put together a brand new collection of poems that I hope give people an insight into who I am as a person, as a poet, as a writer, at the same time reflecting upon the poetic journey that I have been on since I first became an author. And I hope that everybody enjoys reading every verse of the multitude of verses to be found within the poems of my new book, POET of the Multiverse.
The paperback version of POET of the Multiverse will be out soon, but if you cannot wait to get yourself a copy then you can get the ebook version right now for Kindle on Amazon: here
I hope you like what you read! ☺
