You have got to love nature! I do! Nature is where and within I first found my spark of artistic creativity and it is to nature that I am constantly drawn back to, because nature holds so much beauty and so much magic, and no one can live without nature - which is why everybody should learn to love, respect, and to not take nature for granted... because nature was here before us and nature will be here long after we are all gone. 😊🌞🌍🏞🏕 #nature #theworld #wildlife #naturalworld #connection #life

I had a great 15 kilometre/9 mile walk this morning! I saw so much nature - from trees to fields, from a robin to a fox! We all have to keep going and we have to stay positive as well as keep doing what we have to do and we all need to stay calm if and when possible - it's hard, I know... but I know that we will get through this! Thanks to #starbucksonthego at an Esso service station I am now able to have my first @Starbucks Caramel Machiatto since God knows when... and it takes so good! "Fear can hold prisoner, Hope can set you Free" - the tagline of my favourite film ever: "The Shawshank Redemption". I really need to watch this film again, and so does everybody else - especially during our current circumstances. I have seen countless films in my life - from every genre of film and television - but "The Shawshank Redemption" is, and always will be, my favourite film for so many reasons and I do truly believe that if you have not seen it yet now is the time to right that wrong. Just got back from my short morning walk. It is always great being out in nature and enjoying every wonderful sight and sound that I encounter. I have noticed so orher people either walking or cycling around to get their daily source of exercise in while of course continuing to maintain a socially acceptable distance from one another but while continuing to share a brief nod of the head, a wave, or a morning greeting as they/we outdoorsy folk pass each other by like ships on an ocean. Today is a great day for a walk or a bike ride I have to say! 😊🚶‍♂️🚴‍♂️ #walker #walking #dailyexercise #nature

Good morning, everybody! I hope everyone is doing as well as can be expected while adapting to and attempting to live in this new world of isolation that we find ourselves in. There is no one alive who cannot have been moved by what we see reported on television every day, especially the tenacious and the indomitable work of those health care professionals who are literally putting their own lives on the line in order to do their jobs and to administer the best care and attention that they can to the most in need at this moment in time. It must be so hard for people who have to daily turn up for their shifts in hospitals and to have to watch patients stricken with the Coronavirus struggle to fight and to survive against an invader within their own body. Each day of separation and isolation is a struggle for everybody that has to suffer through it and we are by no means through the worst of what is to come, nor have we lost all that we will ultimately have to lose because of this formidable disease - however I believe that as long as we all practice responsibility and safety in regards to this pandemic we will get through this. I believe that we all have a strength of spirit within each of us that is fueled by the collective knowledge that every person alive on this planet is a part of the same Human family and I think we all need to recognize that though some of us may be separated by space we are all connected by time and we can do so much for one another just by being present for those who need us now more than ever. This is an invisible storm of decimation that we are currentlt within - but if we pull together and think as one I know that we can make it through to the other side and begin to heal the world and our lives from the chaos of these crazy times. Stay safe, everyone. Keep calm. Be kind. Stay connected. Be there for one another. Just got back from taking a walk down and around some of my old stomping grounds - from my home village to the next village over and back again. It was nice to see some familiar places while simultaneously getting some exercise, drawing some inspiration from the tranquility of nature around me, and taking some time to meditate upon the times that we are all living through and all the while holding on to the hope that we will soon all be blessed with an answer in the form of a cure for what ails the world and its many people. This is the cartoon in today's @telegraph newspaper by #Blower undeniably inspired by Edvard Munch's evocative original painting "The Scream" - and what a poignant and telling interpretation of the current time that we are living in and how what we are going through is making some people feel about the world around them. I think this cartoon says it all and I applaud the artist for creating it. I hope that when we get to the other side of this savage Coronavirus pandemic that we will learn to appreciate things more but to not be afraid to leave the house and to make physical contact with somebody. Distance and disconnect is hard to adapt to, but we all have to live in hope that the day will come when this war that we are fighting against this invisible and deadly enemy will come to an end and those of us who will have been lucky to survive will look back upon what is happening now, learn from what started all this, and make sure that this disastrous event in human history does not happen again. We all have to educate ourselves, think about each more, and value people and their health and wellbeing even more so in the future than we have done in the past. We all need one another.
