Some things seem
unacessible to some people
from the outside looking in...
some people have preconceptions
about some things...
something can sound harder to grasp
than it actually is...
people do not know what they are missing
until they give something a go
and they find themselves
being changed by the experience.

Some people say that
they are simple and predictable -
however, in reality, everybody
is capable of surprising others...
some things that happen in life
feel like something out of a dream,
because they do not make sense...
some people can look at
a priceless piece of art
and feel daunted by its simplicity,
as well as by its obvious complexity,
that they find themselves
feeling feelings they have never felt before...
some people sometimes
can not put into words
what a poem, a painting, a sculpture,
a photograph, a film, a book
is doing to them subconsciously -
but they know that no matter
what they do, and where they go next,
their perception of the world
will forever be changed.

Some things we find
at the same time that they find us...
some people sometimes
want what others have -
but there is always a reason why
some things come easy
to some people, and not to others,
that is out of most of our hands...
some things never stop being
a rejuvenating source...
some people do not always know
what they want, nor what they need,
until someone gives them a gift -
and sometimes within
the magic words of a poet
readers can be given a blessing
that is so special it is meant to last.
So, if you ever need energy,
insight, wisdom, beauty -
then you need only
give poetry a chance.
