My first book ‘Poet of the Sphere’ was published on the 1st of June, 2012. I still feel so lucky to be a published authorMy second book ‘The Sound of Mark’ was published on the 16th of August, 2014. With this book I think I was still trying to find my own voice, my own sound… and I learned a lot while I writing the poems within it and continuing my writing journeyMy third book ‘The Eternal Boy’ was published the 1st of February, 2015. The poems within this book capture the eternal hope and optimism than have sustained me and my poetry since I was a boy, that to this makes me feel like I could fly! This is a favourite book of mine!My fourth book ‘The Dreamer and The Dream’, which was published on the 12th of June, 2015, was a book when I believed I was at the peak of my creativity, as well as finally living the dream of a writer, an author, and a dreamer. My fifth book ‘Truly Madly Deeply’ was published on the 28th of December, 2015, and is a book of poetry as well as a short-short dedicated to love… the love that two people feel for one another, truly madly deeplyMy sixth book “Too Close To The Sun” was published on the 6th of June, 2016, and was a collection of both poetry and short-stories with a supernatural theme. In retrospect “Too Close To The Sun” was me being experimental as a writer as well as transitioning from exclusively writing and publishing poetry to writing and publishing stories of characters of my own imagining. In a way “Too Close To The Sun” set the stage for all the books, stories, characters that would followMy seventh book, and my first novella, ‘The Wolf In Me’ was published of the 5th of June, 2017, and began life as a poem that as I was writing it unfurled into becoming a story about identity – about someone losing their identity, about someone finding their identity, and about having to live with something inside of you that most people would consider a curse… especially if you do not understand what you have been gifted. This book was the first to feature my protagonist Olivia Hunter – a teacher, a parent, but most importantly a werewolf – who has to balance a real life with a supernatural life, and all the highs and lows that go with living a life that you cant tell that many people about. Olivia Hunter is someone who I have shared the journey with, and written the story of, as we both learned more about the Wolf that apparently had long been waiting to reveal themselves from within Me.My eighth book ‘Playing God’ was published on the 17th of April, 2018, and is a collection of seven short-stories/morality tales about people and their interacrions with the same rebel, hero, friend, fan, father, son, man in black/man in white, playing, god. A book about life, death, rebirth, identity, purpose, reinvention… that revolves around a character that bears a striking resemblance to the late-great David Bowie – who has now has no name, but who was once known and worshipped by people as the “Messenger of the Gods”My ninth book ‘The Wolf In You’ was published on the 19th of June, 2019, and is a sequel to my seventh book ‘The Wolf In Me’. The story of Olivia Hunter continues, as she attempts to make a new start in a new place with her daughter, Melissa, and as she fully embraces the Wolf within her. However, Olivia has to contend with a threat of the vampire variety against her family, as she also falls in love and chooses to give in to her passions – while having to look within for the strength to do what must be done to save what matters most to her.
